Celebration Milestones

Marking celebratory moments in your life, a special birthday or anniversary, the birth of a grandchild or making Aliyah (Moving to Israel), is always more joyous when doing it as part of the Shul.

Celebrating in Shul

To make your milestone extra-special share it with your community. Why not consider announcing the good news in our newsletter, receiving a blessing from the Rabbi on Shabbat or offering a Kiddush or other sponsorship opportunities in honour of the occasion?

Please contact the Shul office and Rabbinic Team to put your simcha in our diary and of course Mazal Tov in advance.

For a hall hire please email our events team.

Bar/Bat Mitzvah

Your son or daughter’s coming of age simcha is a highlight on their journey of adolescence. Bushey United Synagogue can help you make the post of the journey and the simcha day itself. With a bespoke approach appropriate for all families, celebrating a Bar and Bat Mitzvah in our Shul will give you and your child an unforgettable and enriching experience.

Bar Mitzvah

We are blessed with a fantastic community of young families who your son will share his bar mitzvah experience with. Under the leadership of our Rabbinic Team we offer a dynamic programme of classes and experiences in the run up to the simcha which parents can also enjoy. Whether it is our monthly Breakfast Club, Youth-Parent Shabbat service or volunteering in the community, we are sure that the Bar Mitzvah year will be a formative moment in your child’s life

We also offer bespoke individual guidance and support for Bar Mitzvah preparation so you know that you and your son will be in good hands.
